Our Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil
The Cannabis Sativa plant has been used across the world for thousands of years, for everything from spiritual ceremonies to textiles, skincare and food. The plant contains around 80 cannabinoids which are active compounds. Different strains of the plant carry different components, providing varying degrees of individual botanical properties. The main (although not sole) difference between Hemp and Marijuana is the relative absence of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in Hemp. THC is the psychoactive component in Cannabis.
Our Organic Cannabis Sativa seed oil has been used in products for the past fifteen years, having been meticulously tested by our supplier in Colombia along with the optimum entourage ingredients for over a decade prior. He was the first person to be granted a license by the Colombian government to produce Cannabis sativa seed oil in the country. Cannabis Sativa seed oil is a rich source of essential nutrients and omegas 3 and 6 fatty acids- 90% of the oil is composed of this powerful duo. As a result, Cannabis Sativa oil is a particularly hydrating carrier, and bountiful in antioxidants such as Vitamin E and Gamma Linolenic Acid.
Cannabis Sativa seed oil is also suitable for all skin types and does not clog pores due to its natural properties and hydrating action. Its powerful biochemistry helps to balance the skin and acts as a natural barrier to soothe and comfort. Our organic oil is cold pressed to retain the purity and beneficial compounds, which would otherwise be lost with heating - which also causes damaging oxidisation.
